The Kenner Gallery represents the connection between art and the brands identity. The goal is to bring together different artists and exhibit works inspired by the brand's personality.

The Gallery was born as an editorial feature on Instragram, spread to the brand's other social networks, became an activation at music festivals and is now present in new territories around the world. It's art transcending borders, representing generations and making Kenner much more than a sandal, but a culture.

NOBRU WERNECK

A self-taught multi-artist born in Rocinha and adopted by Pedra de Guaratiba, Rio de Janeiro, Nobru began his work in art by painting commercial facades in his favela. Today, his work dialogues with the duality between hard work and leisure, the struggle and the claim of territories. The exhibition “The power of memory as a fuel for collective claim and resistance” claims the beach as a tool for affirming the artists existence and of the groups to which he belongs. Between the concrete and the playfullness, there is a message of hope and perseverance through the narrative of the quest for shade and sun.

For this special Paris edition of the project, we connected with local urban agents to co-create an art series and activation program that translated the range and impact of Kenner's expansion brazilian urban scene.
